According to Capcom's chief financial officer, Kazuhiko Abe, the recently released third-person action title, Resident Evil 5, has sold a whopping 4.97 million copies as of April 31. That's an incredibly impressive number.
We can only assume that it's passed the 5 million mark since then, considering it was only released a few months back. The number also propels Resident Evil to become Capcom's most successful ever gaming franchise.
