TGS '09: Motion Controller Support to be Added to Existing Titles

Sony plans to add motion support to a range of existing games, including Resident Evil 5 and Littlebigplanet. Capcom's Jun Takeuchi took to the stage at the Tokyo Game Show today, to demo Sony's PS3 motion controller with the upcoming Resident Evil 5: Director's Cut. The re-released game will be fully compatible with Sony's motion controller when it hits store shelves next year.

Sony showed off a Littlebigplanet demo that had a bunch of gamers using both the Motion Controller (wand) and the Duel Shock 3 in tandem. They have plans to incorporate motion support to 13 games that have already been released, which also include EyePet, Flower, Pain and High Velocity Bowling. Hopefully the remaining titles will be revealed in the coming days.

Sick of this man, spend 160 on a Resident Evil pack and now they release a directors cut?

EDIT - they are gonna bleed me just like they did with RE4 on cube and RE4 on Wii

It's going to be interesting to see just how these things compare to the Wiimotes/Nanchucks.

Found out from the Official Australian Playstation site that these new Motion Controllers will be coming out Autumn of 2010 and that to work, a Playstation Eye will be required.

Further details and specifications still forthcoming.
