Killzone 3 to come before PS4?

Speaking to The Gamer Access, Guerrilla Games' senior producer, Steve ted Heide, has said that the developer is far from finished with the Playstation 3.

"PlayStation 3 has a very long life ahead still, and we're certainly not done developing for this platform. We still see enough opportunities to get better and pushing the platform even further," he said.

He didn't mention specifics, but he did go on to discuss plans for Killzone 2's future DLC.

"Part of Killzone 2's focus points was to allow players to create their own customized games as much as possible and to a large extent I think we have succeeded. However, we are always looking at the way the community is responding to our designs and will take this type of feedback into consideration for future projects and possibly DLC. I cannot tell you specifics right now though."

Gamers had to wait quite a while for the sequel to Killzone, which appeared on the Playstation 2. With word now that the developer isn't finished with the platform, will we see Killzone 3 before this generation is out?

I'd like to see Guerrilla try something new... they've been doing Killzone for a long while now, I think they'll want to mix it up a little bit. Studios can get very stale if you are continually doing the same thing.

I rekon they should not make any more dlc for kz2 bcoz it's not gunna make it much betta. Kz2 online is only good for about 10hrs then the disc goes back in the case and neva played again!

they only made 3 Killzone titles while Activision published 12 Call of Duty titles since 2003 and I never seen any1 complaining to Activision about it because its a successful title/game/franchise.

the only real complaint i have for KZ2 is the lack of colours. i know that they were going for the 'dorty' look, but that surely doesnt restrict the colour palette to a few shades of brown. Otherwise, great game, and it would be exiting to see a sequel on the ps3.

thats the Helghans planet there atmosphere is very violent and dark with constant storms that covers the sky with dust and unknown gases that causes them physical side-effects (example pale skin, baldness, lung problems and etc). If u played Killzone 1 and Killzone liberation it was set in the planet Vekta that the atmosphere and climates resembles earth and u see more green, blue and etc.

Yes but call of duty is a good game with amazing sales. Killzone is a decent game with decent sales.

I hope there is a plot this time.

A race that can create all kinds of crazy advanced weapons had to steal nukes? GTFO!

Oh add 2 player co-op and longer improved vehicle sections, provide a greater variety of multiplayer maps on the disk and don't take the pi$$ by charging $5 per dlc map.

Oh dont get me wrong, I'm not saying I wouldnt like to see another Killzone.. I'm just saying from the company's perspective I think they might be ready to try something new, so I wouldnt hold my breath for one anytime soon. K3 i'd give... 2012. And whether its done by Guerrilla or not will be the big question IMO.

I could be wrong though, IO did the Hitman series for bloody years before they tried something new but if history tells us anything after working 6+ years on the same series devs really want to try something new. Lets face it, would you? lol

Did u know B4 Killzone 1 and 2 the was a war in earth called the Helghan war because the Helghan faction didn't like the political views of the other countries government views and had a war, invading countries but they lost the war a they where force to seek refuge in a planet which they named Helghan but the planet was toxic for their bodys but the new generation adapted and change their DNA structure and they call themselves Helghans not humans but there are some half Helghan and humans in Helghan. Vektan (another human colony) used to be trading partners but since they r controlled by the ISA (supported by Earth) Helghan ppl got angry of the Vektans, since Vekta was close too Helghan the had strong ISA presence because the planet was rich with resources and then the Helghan launched a surprise attack which cause a 2nd Helghan war which u can play in Killzone 1 and 2. But I like to see a Killzone game based on the 1st Helghan war in Earth. But I think thats the story about the Helghans from stories I read

BLASPHAMY! If it werent for cross region clan tournaments this would be the #1 clan based FPS on ps3... I honestly think it is since Every other fps plays cross region
