it is kinda weird but there are reasons behind all the name changes as most of them r code names their name changes through out the differant games. for example Raiden aka Jack, jack is his given name where Raiden is a code name. same goes for Otacon aka Hal Emmerich even though otacon isnt realy a code name its just a name he asked 2 be called.

but Gray Fox aka Cyborg Ninja/Frank Jaegar/Null that is a hard one, as Frank Jaegar is his real name grey fox is his code name given to him from foxhound. and cyborg Ninja was what he was known as in MGS1, and isnt null from mgs po, i dont know the story behind that as i havent finished the game yet.

and young ocelot is in mgs3 before he becomes Revolver Ocelot
