Some of you may have seen a similar medal running on MyWii and MyDS but now it's time to throw a little Sony flavour at it.

Metal Gear Solid Medal- One news article submitted

Metal Gear Solid 2- Two news articles submitted

Metal Gear Solid 3- Three news articles submitted

All three of these can be yours, it all depends on how much effort you want to put in. Read on to find out how in detail.

Medals Available: There's no limit on each of these medals but there is a time duration. Medals will no longer be available two weeks after this medal thread opens.

How to get the Medals: If you haven't seen the news section by now go check it out www.myps3.com.au/ We need your help with that section by submitting originally written news articles.
Search the internet for interesting news, rewrite it into your own words, check your work, the submit it to the news section of this site. In the upper right hand corner of the news section you'll see this button...

Click that and add all the required information to all boxes provided.
Once you have completed your originally written article post a link to it into this thread and wait for an admin to look over it, if it passes all the requirements then a medal will be issued to your profile.
If wish to get more than one medal you'll have to submit more articles, your first article will get you the MGS1, your second article will get you the MGS2 Medal and the third will get you the MGS3 Medal. Writing up three articles may be a daunting task but if you pace your self over the two week period you'll be fine.

Things to Remember
• Make sure you have a good source site.
• Pre-write your work in a word processing program to help you pick out mistakes.
• Take your time!
• Avoid news regarding Rockstar Entertainment due to complex embargo agreements.
• Check the news section first to see if someone else has already written about the news you want to submit. Double up articles will be removed.
• All submissions MUST be originally written, any copy and paste work will be removed.
• Please don't dig up your old articles and ask for a medal.(We will accept an article that you have recently posted in the last 2 days)
• If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
