I havent see people using HD (by using USB) yet, but I've saw the magazines mentioned people use bigger 160G HD, they take off the original HD and replace 160G in. (Original PS3 HD using Seagate brand)
Another one I saw is they used 3.5inch Hd (original PS3 use 2.5inch), they extended the SATA cable out and connected to a 250G 3.5inch HD, and run external power on it. Coz they dont wanna put extra power on the PS3.
But 1st few times, PS3 wont recognised the bigger HD, but after been reset for few times, then its fine.
