I have to agree with other posts. It is a beautiful game to play. Kojima Productions really outdid themselves. The level of detail is incredible and the thought put into all the little things really enhance the experience. The controls are great! Sound samples are high quality, even the PMC voices sound good.

Starting out on Solid Normal, not game to try Big Boss from the beginning. Just got MG MK2. Not been too difficult.

My advice is to practice the controls in virtual training first. If you are a MGS veteran then you will find about half of the original controls still exist, but the rest are new. It really is like playing a MGS game combined with FPS controls. This time you can't accidentally slit someone's throat if you press a button too hard...

Two little bits of trivia for you:
1. I bought a PS3 just to play this game.
2. I bought a new widescreen TV (my first) just to play this game.

Madman. I have no idea how many save files are possible, may only be limited to your free HDD space. If it's like the others then, LOTS!

Well, I just bought the MGS4 Limited Edition Guidebook from EB Games today. Decided not to wait, as I probably will need it when I'm playing MGS4 haha.

I purchased my copy of MGS4 from JB, so I told the EB girl that I purchased MGS4 from a different EB store. She asked if I have the receipt on me, I said no ... then she gave me the 20% discount anyway! Hahaha w00t

Yea, it's the hard cover. Comes with the lithograph as well. Mine says No. 16572/43,000 on the back.
