I feel a bit like Astrolite when GTA came out I don't get all the Hype. the old metal gear was good not great I saw the opening on Foxtel on demand and thought it looks like the same Metal Gear solid but now the dude is old and the machines are new I'm not one to poo poo Hideo the guy is good no great but its nothing new I guess is what I'm saying

no I have not played it yet so I cant speak from ANY experience I'm sure I would enjoy it, but apparently ppl finished it in 15-18 hours for a hideo game that is short MGS on ps2 I never even finished... it took forever
and for the record greek philosophers are total nubes
(I still dont know what a nube is )

MGS4 is the longest MGS game yet. All the others averaged between 10-12 hours.

I've already spent 12 hours, and I've only completed Acts 1, 2 and 3! LOL

Btw, for the future. If I decide to play in the Big Boss mode (aiming for no alerts or kills), and I get detected by the PMC troops ... can you just load your game again from the last checkpoint (Quit Game, restart, Load game)?

Yes, but go to the save game area and just go return to menu, then load game. Just remember to save at every checkpoint.

Just load up your game save again (last checkpoint) and off you go again for the no alerts/no kills ... cool! I can do that then
I probably won't try that unless there's a Trophy for it something though

No trophy, but an automatic infinate ammo machine gun the never needs its clip reloaded. That's just for the hardest difficulty under 5 hrs no kills no alerts and no health items. The no kills and no alerts will net you the stealth suit and infinate ammo bandana though!

Another question ... how do you get 0 kills when you're fighting against the bosses or the long getaway scenes?

Tranq gun. And in the getaway scenes I think all enemies can be put to sleep with one tranq. bullet.

Nope, but on the hardest setting, tranq darts cannot be bought and only 50 carry over from your last save. Yes 5 hours is possible I've already done it (not on the hardest setting) right now I'm working on the over 30 hours playthrough. The Panda Emblem. Up to 26 hours!

What do you mean you cannot buy tranq darts on the hardest difficulty? Of course you can, drebins shop sells all types of ammo on any difficulty......

Guess I am just bad at this game then. But then again I get my moneys worth on the game. The kids aint touching this one till I have finished it as I dont want them to show me how they did it first
