I've also been only getting small folds too... for the past 4-5 days I've been getting nothing but 200k and 199k ones... kinda sucks

Your PS3 will sit there with a bunch of circles connected by lines and it will rotate around and go crazy and a number will count up until it reaches its target (200 000 or whatever). And you do that over and over again.

It first came across to me as being a complete waste of time.

But its a for a good cause, right? So why the heck not just download it and let it do what it does

I can see in say 3-4 years from now we'll all be rating our PS3s by how many Work Units we've done! haha i clocked 200 yesterday! Thats since boxin day when i got it.

Watched Casino Royale tonite with mates.. I love Bond films eh.. good ****.. I didn't really care for the resolution for now.. still running a Standard Def TV... but i love the menu systems and cool **** with Blu-rays.. so mad.. and once profile 2.0 Blu-rays are released with all cool online content and other cool **** they'll be even better!

please post any links to wherever this is being mentioned... Computers nowadays are built pretty damn solid.. including the PS3. Sony even used folding to test system stability and cooling.. so i dare say that if indeed folding (or very high-stress games) does reduce console life, it'd be very negligible.
