cool landmark we've reached ey! eventually we need to push those people with no points off the board. but to do that i think we'll need at least 503 members!!

lol well its not much fun except to muck around with your custom music playlists for when its running (although the visuals are quite trippy!) you just let your console do it when your doing other things. its researching diseases like alzheimers and cancer for Stanford University. you never know, your console could be the one to crack the code! snicks should know thats not a waste of time Rated....i hope he has enough good karma stored up that he doesnt get one of those diseases in his twilight years.....or sooner.

thats right, and dont listen to people who say "errr, folding just chews up all ur bandwidth" cos it doesn't at all. it uses your processor to do all the work, only downloading each work unit once which are like tiny, less than 50mb each, probably waaaay smaller actually as it takes my conasole about 2.5 seconds to download

Well for a whole 24hr period of folding, I only chew up 40-50mb of my broadband... smaller than a fw update or playing games online... I'm now in the 7th spot and definitely getting closer to the Top 5!

thats weird jason i wouldn't have thought it would take you off the list cos thats just kept on the web. plus theoretically you could join our team even if you didn't own a ps3. you just have to install the SMP version or any of the other ones and type in the team number....strange mate

Jason.. all your previous work units would have been credited to the MyPS3 Team as long as you had 60766 as your team no. before your hard drive crashed. Your right.. you just gotta enter your donator name and team no. in the folding program on your PS3 so that it starts crediting your previous name again. Your name will never vanish from the MyPS3 team stats - vspx27.stanford.edu/
Only thing is.. i can't figure out what name u folded under?

ohh.. nearly forgot what i came here to post about.. everyone get involved if they can.. coz this will really give a boost to the project... If you have an AMD/ATI graphics card.. checkout here - folding.stanford.edu/ and see if your card is compatible to fold! haha you will get your moneys worth (points!).. The client is an open beta.. so i dont recommend it for ppl who aren't willing to put up with possible bugs etc. If only i had one of these graphics cards! Well.. always have my mighty Playstation 3!
