I found no posts on myps3 that discuss what people think of this game so I have started this.

My hopes for Killzone 2 are MASSIVE, and i think it will live up to the hype, it already proved people wrong with how amazing it looks. I think it could be the 3rd best thing to come out of the PS3 excluding MGS4 and Heavy Rain

Havent seen much on Heavy Rain, and it doesnt look all that good. I suppose i will have to look up more on that. But Killzone 2 is my game of the year.

Killzone 2 blew me away almost literally, that game is freakishly good looking. I cant wait for it, i think it comes out September this year but i could be wrong.

Nah you aren't wrong, thats when it is set to be released unless they push it back *cross fingers they don't*. I've read reviews that disliked Killzone 1 alot and i cant understand it, it was sweet. 2 looks like the FPS everyone has been waiting for. And it's PS3 exclusive. BOOOYAH!!!

At the moment I'm not really worried that its not going to look good. Just if its fun to play.

True but Killzone 1 was IMO alot of fun,i am just a bit worried that the hype of "A Halo Killer" will ultimately kill killzone

Nah, the hype won't kill it. It's just annoying that the fools who over hype it are the ones who get heard and therefore set a bad example for PS3 owners. Basically stating that all PS3 owners have got going for them is Killzone. And im sure that it will deliver in every aspect that we class as a Killer game.

Cool...maybe when I buy my PS3 in 6monthd there might be a Killzone package where I get a PS3 & a copy of killzone...and the shops here in th UK usually let you get 2 extra games as well! AWESOME!

Edit: I just realised..I dont know what happened in Killzone 1 so someone mind summing up the story for me please?

In the first Killzone one of the ISA(goodies)captains betrayed them and gave information to the Helghast(baddies). The reason for the war is because the Helghast want to kill everyone take over pretty much. Future Hitler but instead of Jews its everyone.

The critics were harsh with KILLZONE. Don't know why...I loved it! Very keen to play K2 - I'm sure it will be fabulous.
