$1200 your kidding right you probably more if your getting a top notch bundle. I saw the memory card adaptor in the city for only $60Aus could be cheaper when it's getting it's proper australian release.

It's a USB adapter, so yes, just a str4aight plug-in, I wonder if you could d/l save games off the net, using the adapter put them onto your MemStick and transfer them onto PS3???

As you might notice on that picture it says USB Cable not included (same with any additional SixAxis Controllers you might buy)... So it looks like it will be just a small black box, that will use an existing USb-MiniUSB Cable for you controller to hook up to the PS3... I still don't know about connecting it to PC, but here's hoping!

I agree mate. Its gonna cost $30 dollars. Just import 1 cause there compatiable worldwide.

Where can you get one of these that works..?
I got a Futuretronics one at harveys today, and it won't read any of my ps1 memory cards.. i can't even read it off the pc and transfer them.. will be returning it in the morning..
Where can i get a sony brand one, cos that'll work.

Thanks ratedY2J, I have one on order from play-asia.
hope it works with my nz ps3.. sony say they can't make any promises though, it being for japan ps3.

UPDATE: arrived today, the adapter from playasia works perfect with my grey memory card (official one?) but not my blue or red ones[PS1].
I'm as yet to try ps2 ones, but good news.. IT WORKS!! just like games, regionless

ALSO: to use them (nowhere really explains this..), just plug it in with your memory card, then go to your memory card section on the XMB (where it lists your virtual cards/asks you to create a new one) and it should load up above the "create new internal card"
My version allows me to copy single ps1 save files.. i didn't think it was supposed to do that.. but it's handy! (maybe this was a firmware update?)
