Fallout 3 Patch Released

Bethesda today has released a patch for their critically acclaimed Fallout 3 do you can continue your post-apocalyptic adventure glitch-free.

The patch fixes a whole list of issues for all platforms including the game crashing and an issue where NPCs would disappear from the game. The entire list of issues and additions made in the patch can be seen at The Fallout 3 website.

Further goods news for Xbox 360/PC players is that the exclusive downloadable content Operation: Anchorage has been dated for Australia. The DLC is set to arrive on January 27 2009.

The DLC will see players take part in a military simulation of the Battle of Anchorage, before the world was destroyed in an attempt to repel an invasion from the Chinese. The extra content will add approximately 5 more hours of gameplay (pfft as if you needed that when the game cant take 100+ hours if you really explore) and will feature a host of new goodies including new shinny weapons. Operation: Anchorage will cost 800 Microsoft points.

But theres a reason why its so buggy... ITS SO BIG! lol I can overlook the bugs if they dont constantly interfere with the game.. and in my 25+ hrs on Fallout 3 I've only come across 2 so its not all that bad.

You must be lucky, russ, because I come accross ****ty bugs every 3 hours or so.

I know TES IV: Oblivion was released late on PS3, but I must say for a huge game (bigger than F3), it's virtually bug free.
