GC: New Heavy Rain characters
During Sony's Gamescon conference in Germany earlier today, Quantic Dream, developer of the highly anticipated Heavy Rain, showed off two of the final playable characters in the game.
The first one is named Scott Shelby, who is a private detective setting out to investigate the unique Origami Killer case file.
Not much detail was put into Shelby during the conference, although the other character, Ethan Mars, was given a lot more attention.
Ethan is a father who lost his son in a large crowd, before witnessing him being hit and killed by a car.
While Ethan suffers from severe depression, his oldest son gets wrangled up in the Origami Killer case, leading Ethan to get involved in the strange situations surrounding the mysterious case file.
Quantic Dreams' David Cage said, "(the) team and I are working very hard to deliver the ambitious promise of this game."
