Trophy data will be fine,
This is just an internal problem caused by the firmware.
May have to do a PC to USB to PS3 update to fix it though.
People (like myself) who didn't even connect to PSN this morning are having the error so it's not caused by the server,
So any trophy info you've dropped you shouldn't have any probs getting back if you select sync with server when you eventually get back online.

let the 360 fan boys laugh all they want, the psn usually only goes down for maintenance and we are made aware of this long ahead of time, and it usually happens the very early hours of the morning when we are still sleeping.

on the other hand the xbox live 360 network, has at least 2-3 unplanned outages a week..... Let them have the hour of power! whats this the first time for us??? well the first time I can remember

Heavy Rain really didnt have the best launch - they should have released another patch by now to fix all the bloody problems they were having with it. It's not good enough that a AAA title like this has so many problems.

What about that Christmas when Live was down globally the whole holiday week? that was Live's biggest issue that I was aware of.

At least not everyone was affected with this clock issue people who bought a slim and a few lucky 80gb owners were playing online all night last night I had like 4 guys on PSN all doing the normal stuff.

BTW good work for threatening to ban the My360 trolls over in that stupid thread if they continued to troll, last night had alot of idiots making dupe accounts just to say 360pwnsPS3 and other immature BS.
