Sony has trademarked the term "PlayStation Arc" in Japan, offering further proof that it will be the official name of the PS3's upcoming motion controller.
Spotted by Siliconera, the term PlayStation Arc was first rumoured earlier this year. A couple of third party executive types then went on to (accidentally?) use the term when discussing the controller publicly.
