A lot of places were out of stock in Brisbane City yesterday. Tried JB, EB, Target, Big W, Dick Smiths, Harvey Norman, Myer all to no avail. Eventually found a copy at Toyworld for $110.

ok i know ill be hanged for this but i need to say it, who here doesnt like the driving in gta4,
to me it just doesnt seem right, to wobbling and jumpy, and the braking doesnt seem right at all, u go the same speed as the other cars and break at the same time as them yet it takes further for u to stop (usually causing u to run up the ass of the guy in front)
dont get me wrong i love the game but this is JUST one of the things i dont like
(runs in to corner and hides in cardboard box 
)

I think the driving model is very good,you must release brake to turn,handbrake turns are vicious,exactly like my driving lol.

I find that the secret key of driving fast and well is knowing when to use the L2 brake and R2 accelerator at halfway. Don't always press the brake fully when taking a corner, just half way.After you've taken the corner don't press the accelerator fully...build it up.
Thats what I reckon anyway. Maybe I'm reading into it too much but compared to my driving at the beginning I am a whole lot better now.

i love that the driving is a bit more involving. it gives u a reason for taking cabs now and again, when u don't feel like thinking, and gives more of an incentive to get better cars. also i find it easier to manage the hand brake turns if i swing the camera round with the car. this lets you get a better idea of when to steer out of the slide and straighten up.

You start off with just a few pieces of clothing and accessories and as you get better or play more or something I think you unlock more. You can choose the race/gender of your character too

Completely agree! Those websites are awesome. Can't believe how much work and wit was put into something like that, especially since most people would probably never find half the sites! Just then I found out that you can access all the police records by going to www.libertycitypolice.com and clicking the small grey padlock down the bottom. Some good stuff in there too

Also it's amazing how they all link up for extra value. After reading the blogs (can't remember the site) I was reading the news section just then and an article popped up about a serial killer beheading joggers. The guy has a blog and was saying how he hates joggers and how he likes to cut their heads off to see if they still jog likes chickens do when they are decapitated! I also found a record in the police section about one of the ladies with a blog, saying how she steals from designer shops after I'd just read her blog bragging about her designer clothing and high-flier lifestyle. I love this game
