whats the deal with all the unresolved storylines?
mr bulgarin, elizebetta, karin(michelle), etc. my guess would be down to the 360 dlc. But that would suck, just like the ending. Who the hell is Jimmy P anyway.

Im on the search and delete mission, so hard! but i was so close to catching him like a metre or so and my car blew on fire and had to run for new car, he got away.
I went on a shooting spree as i was annoyed. rockets going everywhere

I thought not realising what happened to Mr Bulgarin was a major problem with GTA4's storyline.
I know the story was all about Dmitri ... but still ...

Yeah I was interrupted a few times while cutscenes were on. But thinking on it, the EPIC HYPE GTA4 was getting made the flaws stand out a bit more than other games.

You know what? Leaving Francis was bloody useless. I could only use him twice to remove my wanted level. Every other time was "this is Francis McReary, I'm unavailable please leave a message". God damnit, had I known ... I would've killed this prick. I liked Derrick ... Francis is a hypocrite.
You know ... I made Niko start dating Kiki (from the LoveMeet.com website) and she's a lawyer. She is MUCH more reliable than Francis in removing wanted levels ...
Oh yeah i hear that you can date other girls besides Kate and Karen (Michelle). BAH! I rather kill and earn cold hard cash then date women.

Yeh you can, and you get special benefits from dating them such as health boosts and clear wanted level.
And I just finished the game, 94 missions complete and about 72% through.

love this game..as a fan of the series I was just hoping for a big improvement of SA..which was too much driving A to B and nothing in between
The cab factor is great, the ability to replay a mission straight away is great also
the cars handle better...the shotting scenes are great...you can duck and hide...and roll....its awesome effort
I also like the fact is not graphically perfect...this kind of adds to the cult status of the game in some ways....
I honestly cant pick a fault in it....the wanted level and it shows on the map is a welcome addition and much fairer

Grand Theft Auto IV patch finally here
Well, finally. We were hoping this would come sooner, but better late than never, no? The widely reported problems of "freezes during certain modes" and "multiplayer connectivity issues" finally have a remedy -- a patch has just been released by Rockstar for Grand Theft Auto IV. An apology was also included in the patch notes, along with details of each problem resolved.

I experienced the multiplayer connectivity issues the last time I was playing GTA4 online. Something like "the session no long exists, returning back to single-player mode" or something xD
No probs.
Yeah sometimes i would have that annoying message where the session doesn't exist.

Anyway, here's exactly what the patch fixes
Full patch list:
1. Fixed an issue where players were unable to enter or exit vehicles in GTA Race.
2. Fixed an issue where scripted vehicles were causing games to unexpectedly crash.
3. Improved reliability and frequency of PS3 online leaderboard updates.
4. Fixed a rare hang some players encountered when moving from a Race or GTA Race lobby into gameplay.
5. Fixed a hang that would occur when players were switching teams during the countdown in the lobby.
6. Fixed an issue where players were able to get ridiculously high scores from Cops 'n Crooks matches.
7. Changed GTA Race and Race so that the last player remaining always receives a reward of $250.
8. Fixed an issue where spectating players would prevent the game from finishing.
9. Fixed an issue where players were unable to spectate in Round 2 of Cops 'n Crooks games.
10. Changed countdown timer in lobby so that it no longer resets when new players join a game.
11. Changed the kick option so that kicked players are no longer brought back to single player.

Sweet, they're fixing that problem when people got such high scores in cops 'n robbers. Really annoying actually.

I finally got this game yesterday and I've been trying since to get into it but I can't. There's too many gameplay elements, the controls are overly complex and sluggish especially the driving parts and the graphics are average. I didn't get much out of this apart from a headache. I don't think the game is total pile of crap there are parts I do like, the sound track is fantastic and the story was interesting. If it wasn't for the story I would have returned it with in first 30mins.
I can't believe this game got such good reviews. It could be just me not being able to get into it but this game is not worth a 10 out of 10. I'll be swapping it for Bad Company today.
