It's kinda difficult to explain. GTA just lets you do all the stuff you're too smart or scared to do in real life. Like the other day some old hag in the supermarket gave me a dirty look and I got this urge to smash her face in. I knew it would be funny as hell and she deserved it...but I know better than that. That's where GTA comes in. If knee-capping old hags is you're thing, go for it. If sniping people and taking half their face away gets you off, there's nothing stopping you. If luring some cop around the other side of his car before skidding over the bonnet and driving away, leaving him standing in the middle of the road looking like a tool makes you feel smart, then you can do it. If taunting a billion cops as they come after you with an arsenal of choppers, swat vans, squad cars and whatever the hell else they can muster to catch you after you went on a spree of picking up, nailing, and capping prostitutes gives you a rush...you get the idea. Likewise, if cruising around a new city stopping at red lights, keeping to the limit and watching cops take down crims around the city is your cup of tea then you can do that too. It's like putting your life into a video game and being able to do whatever the hell you want knowing there's a reset button; knowing if you mow down that group of senior citizens waiting for the bus that you won't go to jail for the rest of your life...I could go on but that's the character limit. You have to play it to understand
