It does say to use numbers for your game password, but ID needs alphanumeric.

My game password is just 4 numbers, pretty sure that's what the KONAMI ID website asked for. All my other ID and password are alphanumeric.

According to MGS4.net there’s many others in the same boat - experiencing a range of error messages:

* Unable to connect to server.(090F:FFFFFF60)
* Disconnected from the network. Exiting the game.(2007:FFFFFF9D)
* Someone has already logged in using this GAME ID. Unable to login to server.
* The GAME ID or password is incorrect. Unable to login to server.(0911:00000003)

Ive tried so far about 3 times.
