After quite a few copies of the previous title 'Ratchet & Clank' on last gen console Playstation 2 which publicly did very well came the release of Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction.

Beginning Plot - Storyline

Based in the future (around the year 2030). Throughout the game you play as Ratchet a 'Lombax' (Slaved species) and his robotic sidekick "Clank". During the game you are to collect as many 'Bits & Bolts', 'Rerutanium' and use these to upgrade weapons and buy new weapons, armour and even some fantastic battle technology including, the groovitron and plasma beasts.

Graphics

During the game zipping around in the latest technology can be really boring unless you as the player don't feel into it. Playing Ratchet & Clank is way over the last generation of it's kind. This time zipping around, throwing grenades, flying and shooting is seen through a fantastic sense of graphics. Unlike the it's previous kind, your new armour can be seen in a new revolution of detail and fun!

Although this game isn't realistic, you will be blown away by what you are put through graphic wise. Each aspect throughout the whole game is done quite well, well done to the Naughty Dog team for their hard work in yet another Playstaion 3 game!

Sound, Audio

With the basis of a non realistic game the audio & effects Naughty Dog had to create would of had to be a hard job. Taking a big effort and countless trial & error tests, the end result of the Audio in this favourite is quite an appealing candii to the ear!



Value for Money

At the price of $109.95 I think this title un-believably is a good worth while buy, kids from 6-15 will get around 98% enjoyment from the game! So if your looking for a birthday gift or late new years gift this is a must have!
