Atari reveals Europe Ghostbusters release date

Breaking News - Sony to Publish Ghostbusters

I find this a little hard to believe, but still if it is true it will be very interesting to see what happens with this game.

I'll be getting the PS3 version as a true Myps3 member should (hint to Guyver) i'm actually really interested in checking this out. A def on my to get list, But.......If it's no good back to the shop she goes! So far i like what i see.

Confirmed: Ghostbusters timed PlayStation exclusive after Sony deal

[UPDATE] - VideoGaming247 has gained comment from an Atari representative, who has stated that the game should release on non-PlayStation platforms later in the year, though there are no official dates.

It's true. The non-playstation platforms will be delayed so the game is a timed ps3/ps2 exclusive. I think atari are still publishing the xbox 360 version though...

Timed exclusive? Interesting ... I wonder why Sony wants THIS game as a timed exclusive =/

Anyway, I'll be giving this game a go. I have my doubts, but I've learned to try out the game first.

Did this for Prince of Persia, Godfather 2 and X-men Origins, and turns out I loved all three of those games!

Wow. This is out of the blue.

But this has something to do with marketing and the Blu-Ray release. Good move by Sony on a business front. Sucks for those waiting for the DS and Wii versions.

Well, I was looking forward to it on 360. I mostly buy cross-platform on 360, and buy exclusives on PS3. I guess I'll make do with the PS3.

But I reckon they'll be doing a double pack - Blu-Ray + Game, which I'd buy. I'll be getting them both on the same day anyway.

Well I always thought it would be smart if Sony Computer Entertainment, and Sony pictures (who own the ghostbusters IP) would work together to make the Ghostbusters game a PS exclusive. But I never thought it would actually happen.

Either way I really can't wait for this game I looks super awesome.

Well It turns out that this PS exclusive Deal is only in the PAL territories. So if you really need to play it on the 360 you can always import it from the US. Also there is a PSP version coming.

Still seems like a Weird turn of events.
