they look pretty cheap and tacky to me. i wouldnt get them but its just a colour, who looks at their controller when theyre playing?

Yeah same - they look 'plastic-ey' like something you'd find at Cheap as Chips or Cunnos. Kinda like a poor mans Mad Catz version of a Dual Shock...
