What's going on here?? Did anybody actually bother to go to JB at Chadstone?? I pre-ordered the SE of GTA4 back in March at JB (Southland), judging by the receipt I got...they're done in a similar way!! Pre-orders are done as a lay-by with them. While they were doing the transaction, I had a little sneak peek at the computer screen (with my Octacon eye!) and saw that they had two types of pre-orders with different prices!

If I knew how I could post my receipt here (censored ofcourse)!

Well, if I get time I'm gonna go back there and get MORE PRE-ORDERS OF MGS4 L.E.!!!! Then offer is for $20 more than RRP (commission, petrol, labour, tax, etc!)

What do you think? Wish me luck though!

Yeah, come down to Melbourne the weekend after it's release!!!

Really though, I don't know?? I don't do ebay and all that jazz. I go 'old skool' by actually doing things and go to far away place...and that's how I got my pre-order! Money talks, and my bull$h1t walks...right up to the counter of JB!

Bad news, Matrix6... I called up JB Chadstone and they said that they weren't supposed to be taking preorders anymore... I'm not sure if that means anything for your preorder, but I wasn't able to get one... :C

I really doubt you'll be able to get anymore preorders... You were lucky to get one. :/

I would've thought that Konami would make more LE copies purely so they could make more profit. I mean, it's a multimillion dollar game and is platform exclusive too. I WANT TO HELP YOU, KP! T___T

I'm not gonna bother to call them for they may just want to get rid of you and tell you that either "they're not taking anymore" or "yeah dude, that's cool come by sometime".

I'm a bit old fashioned, I prefer talking to the person for real!
The day I got my pre-order, at first I tried EBGames...then rejected! So I thought, no harm in trying JB! Success!!(#1)

In regards to producing more LE versions, Konami may make more money out of it but they would probably need to sell well over a million of the LE version in order to make a profit! (look at the HALO 3 helmet as an example!)

Anyway, LIMITED means way less than a million and maybe only upto 100,000 worldwide...otherwise, it's really not that limited! (IMO, they'll probably only make a small profit out of the LE versions around the world! Also, only PAL regions are getting the Snake figurine. Not even the US or Japan are getting it, officially!)

NEWSFLASH!!! An UK website got an exclusive to set up a pre-order for a highly limited 'Gun Metal Grey' MGS4 PS3!!! (for 323 pounds!!)
