wow, ive been looking for info about the LE version in Aus everywhere, lucky i found this place.
So heres what happened to me so far, just in case anyones interested, its a long story.
The first time i saw the MGS4 LE was when i went into JB and saw a case that said limited edition on the bottom, so i went to the counter and asked the game person if she knew what was in it, she didnt, but she said there is definataly a limited edition (i was a bit unsure because the price was only $115). Anyway i preordered it, and kept checking back to see what in it with no luck.
A few weeks passed and a mate of mine calls me to tell me that he just got a call from GAME asking if he wanted to upgrade to the LE and that it was costing him $169.
Having preordered it for only $115 and the fact that it didnt say LE on my receipt i was a bit worried, so i called JB and talked to the same girl, who told me that she only had me down for a standard, but that she will fix it up, went in next day and was told its all fixed up.
