Damn Jinx405 - dont get too excited about the double pedal idea . . .
got another drum kit in via fleabay (another EL set dammit, not QM 
) so thought - what the heck, why not give the double pedal idea a try with a dual jack connector from Tandy.
Long story short - confused the 5h*t outta myself (tho - must admit - find the bass pedal the hardest part of the drums) - in fact, tried to give myself a 3rd nostril at one point on "Indestructible".
Drums are tough - I'm starting to think simpler = better BUT - to be honest - wont be able to help myself and will likely import the RB2 drum kit. Really like the Frontman guitars (even sans solo buttons) so will be disc + drums (only) for me come October

I didn't complain about it at first, but I hope the fret buttons are much quieter on the new Rock Band guitar.
I realised that I'd rather quiet fret buttons, than quiet strummer ...

I finally got to play Rock Band yesterday , well not really but kinda LOL thanks to a Custom GH3 Wii disc that has all the Rockband songs & alot of the DLC, the songlist on RB kills GH3.

But seeing that Rock Band 2 is coming out soon-ish (no idea yet for the PS3 version), maybe you should wait.
Especially when there's a rumour that the Rock Band 1 songs will be offered as free DLC for Rock Band 2 owners ... rumour ...

Thats a smart idea if they do give RB1 songs for free as DLC for RB2 owners because that could be the deciding factor for people who are unsure about getting GH-WT or RB2

Actually, very true. I didn't notice that.
I got caught up with the idea of "I don't need my Rock Band 1 disc anymore, because the RB1 songs are offered as free DLC and my existing purchased DLCs are all compatible with RB2"

uhhh... they'd be losing money if they just people download the RB1 tracks for free without owning the RB1 disk. think : people who dont have RB1 and go get RB2 and download the RB1 tracks, they're paying for 1 game and basically getting 2, causing harmonix to lose money. & i highly doubt they'd stop RB1 production

Yeah but if it means people will buy RB2 instead of GH-WT then they will be making money, could be a smart marketing idea to kill off the guitar hero franchise, obviously some people will still get GH-WT but if RB2 has the majority share of gamers then it would be an advantage in the long run as they make a killing off new DLC & would still make a profit. I dont think they would care as they already made a profit from RB1 anyways.

hahah but i am a drummer and i can play double bass fairly well. thats why for a song like indestructible, it'll be sweet to play double bass on that 
dual jack connector - does that work well for you? hmm.. but i dont wanna buy another drum kit, with RB2 on the horizon.. maybe i can just buy an additional RB pedal off fleabay instead?
p.s. how does the EL and QM set differ? i read that the QM is more sensitive, but not much diff otherwise..

yeah i agree with Vinzor here... it doesnt really make sense financially for Harmonix, that rumour... i think i mentioned that in this or the RB thread..
