Not really, they will cancel the order within 3 days unless they recieve the fax, then they can pre-verify the credit card so when the RB2 comes into stock they can ship it ASAP. Im thinking of also pre-ordering RB2 bundle & then selling my RB1 instruments on ebay, might wait for RB1 to arrive first & have a go at it before I do that.

Anyways Ive just payed for my bundle by paypal so hopefully it will arrive within a couple weeks, it better as Ive already purchased struts & pad silencers for the drums. Ended up costing me $92 for RB1 bundle & $49.95 for shipping, total of $145.92AU so aslong as everything works fine, that was a pretty good bargain.

Yep, I'm waiting for my new credit card statement to arrive.

Then I'll pre-order RB2 again from GameStop (I've canceled my previous order) using my Home address as the Billing and Shipping Address (same address as on my credit card statement).

Then when requested (they will), I'll go to a newsagent to send an international fax.
The number will be 0015-1-817-722-7720.

Can't wait. Should be easy as pie!

Btw, FYI ...

Hello William,

It is company policy that all international orders be accompanied with a copy of the customers most recent credit card statement. I am afraid that without a copy of the statement faxed to us, your order cannot be processed. The statement must show your name, address, card number and a purchase history. As long as the statement shows at least the last four digits of the card number we will be able to verify the information. Please try to contact your bank and have them send you the correct documentation.

Screen prints and/or emails of on-line accounts are not acceptable forms of verification, we can only receive these via fax. I do apologize for the inconvenience. It will not be necessary though, every time you place an order. This is a one time verification process. We keep your statement on file for six months, after that it will be necessary to send another. Please feel free to send us any concerns that you may have.

Just ordered a copy of RB2 from Gamestop - guess I'm gunna have to wade through the whole fax debacle to get my order verified as well.

Ah well - its gunna be worth it tho (except the 3 month wait . . . )

Bundle as well, right?

I think you'll be sending the fax before me ... let me know if 0015-1-817-722-7720 works or not

I'll be pre-ordering again next week, or the week after

I only ordered the Game. I think I'll wait to see if there is eventually a Aus release or if the drums can be bought separately before i buy anymore peripherals.

Gamestop didnt ask me for the CC verification, but I sent a copy of the statement anyway, just to avoid any confusion down the track.

The 0015-1-817-722-7720 number seemed to work fine

SE bundle - keen to see if they've improved the guitar, spare mic wouldnt hurt and wireless drums with expansion port is a big step forward.

Spare RB1 drums cost nearly 200 bucks, so and extra 150 or so inc. a new guitar isnt bad value by comparison

No point defending myself - BIG fan of the fun to be had from RB, and even tho RB2 is only a 'cut 'n polish' of the original concept, for $239.00 at my door, its worth the money.

BTW Will (Wutang01), my GS order was just updated from 'verifying' to 'open', so my CC fax must have gone through on the 0015-1- number you gave me - thx for that - saved a fair bit of frustration and grief.

BBTW - my CC has the VbV and security chip (Visa) - and GS stil requested a fax copy of my latest CC statement - guess there's no shortcutting the protocols.

Now to the 3 month wait . . . .but the DLC line up is still great so I cant complain

I haven't read the GHWT setlist properly yet, but I know Everlong's one of the songs in both games (RB2 and GHWT).

In my opinion, it's good that these artists aren't exclusive to one side. It means that Rock Band will get good songs for sure
And the people who prefer Guitar Hero will get good songs too

Hey Jinx - im just trying to calm my excitement at seeing those tool songs on GH:WT!

I guess I dont see tool as a band that would really allow their songs to be used on a game like this? Would you agree?

Maybe they dont have a choice. Maybe if the games company buys the rights then they can include it. Not sure.

But yeh. We know they are the kings of misinformation. I just dont know if they'd do a game 'thing' with their songs huh.

yeah i know... i wouldnt think tool would allow their songs on any game, but i'm guessing the record label owns the rights to their music and see it fit to make it available like that. so they prob dont have a choice, like you said. ah well.. i guess we shouldnt complain, right?

kings of misinformation - hahah yeah i remember the april fools joke maynard pulled some time ago on the tool website.. a classic

sstick98 - agreed. truth be told, tool (and slipknot) is enough for me to purchase the GHWT disc... just to check it out. i reckon harmonix really need to step up and release some tool as DLC asap!

although, current DLC is pretty good so far methinks.. how;s the new nin pack? any of you RB owners have it yet? my RB is somewhere on the way to australia at the moment
