Take a journey deep into one of the worlds most beautiful yet hostile environments: Africa!

Far Cry 2 - sequel to the award-winning PC game - will provide players with an unprecedented gaming experience.

Caught between two rival factions in war-torn Africa, you are sent to take out "The Jackal", a mysterious character who has rekindled the conflict between the warlords, jeopardizing thousands of lives.

In order to fulfil your mission you will have to play the factions against each other, identify and exploit their weaknesses, and neutralise their superior numbers and firepower with surprise, subversion, cunning and, of course, brute force.

This game is mindblowingly awesome. I play it at night with a set of headphones on and I feel like I am in another place. More immersive than any other game ever. Similar to BFBC single player in the way you approach a position from any angle and then attack but in this you can sneak up and stay hidden. This game is like Tenchu crossed with Grand Theft Auto crossed with an FPS. The African setting is gorgeous. I am going through this game slowly, lapping it up so to speak. I am trying to do all the side missions I can before moving onto story missions because I am enjoying it so much. Even when you have long journeys you just enjoy the scenery as you go. Apparently this game gets even better when you get to the second act too!! Most underated game ever? Definitely. If Bioshock is really better than this then OMG I need to play that too.

Not to be mean, But Far Cry was NOT that difficult. It was just different to most FPS'. It took strategy. Its one of those games you can play several different ways. You can stealth it, run and gun, or just go for all out destruction. I finished it on the hardest dificulty without too much trouble. Was an AMAZING game for its time. Just a shame they have made the sequel for consoles and ported it. I dunno if ill be buying it because of that reason.
