Terminator Salvation shoots onto shelves
Terminator Salvation the videogame is available today for the XBOX 360, Playstation 3 and PC. Inspired by the upcoming “Terminator Salvation” film, the game offers players the chance to assume the role of John Connor, a soldier in the Resistance, battling for survival against the far superior forces of Skynet.
Taking place two years before the events of the “Terminator Salvation” film, players will be lead through a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles. Terminator Salvation the videogame is a third-person action game with concentrated armed combat against all of the Skynet enemies from the film while encountering new enemies specifically designed for the game. The game takes the battle for humanity to the next level with iconic enemies, cinematic fight sequences and weaponry, drawn directly from the film, as well as a multi-layered cover mechanic.
Grammy Award-winning hip-hop artist and actor Common reprises his film role as Barnes, an ex-football player who manages to crack jokes while battling an army of relentless Terminators. Actress Moon Bloodgood also returns to her role from the film as Blair Williams, the confident and attractive resistance soldier who thinks Connor should step up as a leader and isn’t afraid to call him on it. Rose McGowan joins the team to voice a role that is exclusive to the game, Angie Salter, a fatalistic ex-elementary school teacher who’s still not adjusted to the harsh realities of war.
Terminator Salvation the video game is now available.
