PS3 Slim Hard Drives Still Upgradable
We never really expected otherwise, but just the make sure that everyone is on the same page Sony has confirmed that the 120GB hard drive in the PS3 Slim will be fully upgradable.
Sony told Kotaku "Yes, the new model PS3 has a fully upgradeable hard drive. In regards to your question on support at retail, the situation remains the same as with the current model - it’s up to the individual retailer to offer the upgrade service in store, or the consumer is able to do it themselves."
The rumour about the 250GB PS3 Slim is still circulating, but that seems somewhat pointless now.
