PS3 Compatible Phone this Year

Sony has released more details on their upcoming Aino mobile phone, announcing that it will be compatible with the PlayStation 3. Using the phone can can connect to your PS3 via remote play, allowing you to control your PS3 where ever you are.

Using Wi-Fi or 3G connection, you'll be able to have access to a large amount of the PS3's features. This includes chatting with your mates over PSN, hard drive management/access on the go, shopping at the PlayStation Store and much more while you're away from your PS3.

"Aino is one of the first handsets in Sony Ericsson's new Communications Entertainment proposition. It offers a unique multimedia experience for all PlayStation3 fans as they can seamlessly access and control their PS3 media content anywhere, anytime using Remote Play," says Sony Ericsson.

The Aino will be released in the US this October.

Nice, so now the PSP isn't the only one having remote play. Though I am disappointed that you have to buy a whole new phone to access remote play. I have my PSP so no need to buy this.

That would be handy seeing as i gots me a 32 gb iphone 3gs not so long ago...apart of me died when i saw this now but its only a matter of time before an app does come out. Seeing as the iphone has nothing to do with microsoft and nor does the sony ps3 then this makes the development of a compatible app verry likely

It wouldnt render this phone useless... it would just mean the iphone could have some of the same features of this phone...

yea i would js prefer good old fashioned chord headphones... this is the one thing that through me off.... that means u gotta charge two things
