It's pretty ridiculous how the developers of GOW will have to dumb down their epic game of the aussie verision just because the OFLC is still stubborn as hell of raising their rating system. FFS if GOW III is banned for you guys, I predict a riot will be happening.

Those games were mildly violent. However with GOW III, you can actually see guts spewing out of the beasts you just killed and Kratos will actually be covered in blood.

I've seen videos of it but it's more brutal cartoon violence.

ive seen gameplay of madworld and its seriously was festy. But im saying if it does get banned you'll hve a lot of unhappy gamers evrywhere protesting it. its one of sonys best selling most anticipated games. No one wants a 'mild' copy of GOW they want to see kratos at his best killing beasts and using the ps3's potential to do that. Other then that sony will lose a lot of sales because the OFLC are being stubborn

Yeah its bs why do we have to have scalled down games when all the other countries have better laws on this. Anyway bring on the fury and bring on GOW3.

God of War is seriously the best franchise... for me anyway.

Game is incredible... beyond godlike... figurines are amazing... book? fxck yes... movie... FXCK YES!!

You know how PS3 exclusives always have hard platinums?

e.g. Killzone 2 you need to be in the top 3% online, Resistance 2 you need 10,000 competitive kills, your video needs to be viewed 200 times in its first week in Singstar ...

God of War III might be a game I WANT to achieve the platinum in.
Simply because I just love the series so so much.

Sounds like EA have been doing some copy-cat game developing!?

First it was DeadSpace (RE series), NFS:Shift (trying for GT), they say RAGE (closely to Fallout 3...watch their teaser trailer and compare) and this also...to the superior GoW series! Are they just getting a bit of the $$$ action out of the real mccoys?
