Modern Warfare 2 Priced For The UK


Last week, the Prestige edition of the upcoming sequel, Modern Warfare 2, was announced and priced at US$149.99 (~AU$187). That seemed fair. Today, Activision told the UK what they would be charged - and it's not good.

The RRP of the standard edition will be UK£54.99 (~AU$112), five pounds more than the average game. The prestige edition will be a huge UK£119.99 (~AU$243).

It's not looking good for Australia...

That is the US version pricing, this it the UK version.

Its still worth it NVGs don't come cheap in $250-$300 they mostly $300+.

I'd go with a AU$200-AU$230 range, but nowhere near or over AU$300.

Hope not..well actually i was talking to these guys yesterday at game. And they said that jb, big W and all them buy their games from the uk, this is why they can sell them so cheap. (some how)
$300 ahhh god im gunna spending at least $450 on two games
