Call of Duty World at War Review - 8/10
Singleplayer
The singleplayer is good, Great use of cinematics which keep the player intrested in the story, Playing the game on veteran is definatly stressful and will cause you to question if its even possible to finish the game on veteran but you will get an awesome feeling when you finish the level...after about 100+ deaths
Weapons
The weapons you start with in multiplayer are gonna feel a bit suckish, definatly if you have been playing Call of Duty 4 for a while, most are single fire and the others are just a bit slow, this isnt a huge problem but it is a disadvantage when playing against higher level'd players, as you unlock more guns you will unlock more awesomer guns, the guns shouldnt be compared to the guns in Call of Duty 4 because this game is WW2 and that game is Modern Warfare.
Multiplayer
The maps are a bit dark but really realistic, Theres a quite a few campers in most of the matches you play but thats not the games fault, its the player, There are some new matchtypes like Hardcore Sabotage which are awesome, The gore in the game is great, its always fun to watch an arm or leg fly off, The biggest new addition to the game is the Zombie Mode, its really fun espically when playing with friends, its also fun playing with other people online because it helps you learn new tactics
Overall
For people new the the Call of Duty franchise, this game would be 9/10 but after playing Call of Duty 4 this game deserves a little less, the Singleplayer is a fun playthrough, the weapons are good and with a bit of practise will seem pretty easy to use, the Multiplayer is definatly gonna keep players entertained for a long time, Overall the game is good and is worth a buy, but if you can, also buy Call of Duty 4 if you havent already.
Singleplayer - 8/10
Weapons - 7/10
Multiplayer - 9/10
Overall - 8/10
