For some reason i had it im my head it was canadian dollars 
Canadian or American make no diff for me.
either way our dollar is quite strong for the time being, so its a good time to buy from os.

It makes more and more cents to import games. In this day of age of ebay and internet price comparisons, its time Aust. retailers, realised that consumers are not stupid and are sick of paying higher prices that the rest of the world.

That would mean some of us will be importing Rock Band 2 ... and be receiving it ... well before the rest of Australia gets Rock Band 1 from EB Games or JB Hi-Fi or wherever ...

Damn . . . pooped myself when I saw some of the release dates others had quoted - just checked my GS order - still says OPEN & 10/19/08 for RB2 - think (hope) that will be a fairly accurate US PS3 release date given the response to RB1.
Curiously, my RB2 order from GS was priced slightly differntly - $189 for SE bundle and $44 Express Int. postage = $234.98 to be exact

USD64.98 for the International Expedited shipping.
You'll notice the USD64.98 includes the additional USD19.99 charge for handling or something.

sorry to veer a little off topic (RB2 prices etc) but i was curious - do you RB owners have/use drum struts? i know wutang does... they're supposed to support the red and green pads, right? how much did you get them for? ebay?
alternatively, can someone just buy some wooden rods and fix them up so that they support these pads?

But you could basically buy the GH:WT bundle earlier than RB2 - and simply buy the RB2 game disc ????

The Xbox 360 version, Rock Band 1 instruments will be compatible in GH-WT. Not sure about GH-WT -> Rock Band 2 though. Or PS3 version for that matter.
And I'm fairly sure Rock Band 2 comes out *just* before Guitar Hero: World Tour. But I'm comparing US release dates at GameStop.

It has only been confirmed that RB1 disc will work with GH-WT instruments, they cant confirm if RB2 disc will work until it is released.
jinx - I paid $25AU including delivery for my wooden struts, havent used them yet as still waiting for my RB bundle to arrive but they dont look too hard to make yourself but I dont have the tools so I thought it was just easier to buy them on ebay. The have grooves the end of each strut so they fit perfectly.

Yea, very true. And not just that, they only confirmed that the Xbox 360 Rock Band 1 instruments will work in GH-WT.
No word on the Playstation 3 version though ...

Yeah its weird how they only confirmed the 360 version, dont have have a PS3 to test it ? LOL , actually makes me think its not yet compatible & they are still working on it.
