Payed for my Rock Band bundle today so hopefully it will arrive in a couple weeks
$145AU including shipping.
Also got some drum struts on the way from ebay.
And some drum pads/silencers (sorry wutang01 I forgot you had some for sale exactly the same & got these on ebay)

Damn lol. I had that black set as well as the other set.
I shouldn't have bought it lol xD
I'm definitely not using them on the RB2 drums because [1] they're already quieter, and [2] I don't want to screw up the velocity

In the bundle I purchased from ebay theres no mention of the USB Hub, will I even need it if I have the 4 usb port 60gb PS3 ?

probably not... but the ebay guy should have sent it with everything else though.. he has a few pics of the bundle right? is there a small square thingy in there? i think i saw something like that (in the picture with the mic) when u posted the link here a few days back

The Rock Band Bundle for PS3 doesn't come with a USB Hub. Only the Xbox 360 Bundle does.
You probably won't need it. You'll only need:
1 USB port for the Guitar Receiver
1 USB port for the Drums
1 USB port for the Microphone
And maybe another USB port if you're using a Nyko Frontman.
So 4's enough

Yep. They're not that expensive.
I believe they don't need to be externally powered.

i just checked, looks like i have a spare usb hub lying around good thing that, i didnt know abt the ps3 bundle not having the hub. thanks for the heads up, yet again

I was just doing my daily checking of whether rock band has been announced for australia, and no news that I found. BUT BUT, gameswarehouse.com.au has an Oct 1st date and pricing and preorders open and everything!
They had not done this previously!!

Bundle for $300, sounds about right if we follow the "pattern" as in the US.
Gamestop for example ... Bundle = USD169.99, Game only = USD59.99.
The bundle costs nearly three times more than just the game?

Black square thingy is the guitar receiver (plugs into a USB port).
No matter - unpowered x4 port USB hubs are less than 10 bucks, so no major drama if you have the 40 Gb model
