Hey Wutang,
have you installed your Pedal Metal on your drum pedal. Is it any good? and how do your sound reduction pads feel - do they make any difference?
I have ordered both of them just hoping I didn't waste my money.

Here is what Ssticks said:
Best method (I found) was:
1. start PS3 - plug in receiver. The green LED at the top of the unit will flash.
2. Switch receiver unit to RB (centre dial - the outer ones are dummies for appearance only) and start RB on PS3.
3. Push connect button on the guitar - the connect button will flash as the guitar powers up.
4. Press the connect button on the receiver (the big black square on the top thats supposed to looked like a stomp pedal) - the green LED will blink rapidly.
5. Quickly press the connect button on the guitar - it should hook up after 1 - 2 secs. If not (and this happened to me the first time ) keep pressing combos of the receiver connect button and guitar connect button - eventually it will bind (mine did . . . )
Once its bound the first time, its all good from there - you simply plug the receiver unit in and then tap the guitar connect button and it hooks up instantly - different frequency (colour on the connect btton on the guitar) for up to 4 FRONTMANS in the one room.
Guitar is also Auto-off. Just hang it up when ur finished and it switches itself off after 5 mins or so.
Be patient and persistent. Thought I had a dud one when I first tried.

Patience. You need a lot of patience. I don't know the perfect solution, because I tried every possible connection. Out of frustration, I tapped the receiver link button and the guitar link button at the same time three times like BAM BAM BAM. And then it connected! I can assure you that once it's linked, the next time you connect the Frontman to the PS3 ... it's instant.

It is fantastic. I can go wild without worrying too much
I haven't tried the sound reduction pads, they're in my drawer ... not using them at the moment. I'm applied the cool looking skins (see previous pages to see the pics I posted) instead

It was freaking insane and stupid. Spent 2 nights trying to get it connected. Sstick gave me some guidance ...
But I can't believe that a moment of frustration connected the Frontman for me ...

Your credit card will be deducted when they start processing your order (i.e. they have stock of the item) and they're about to ship it.

About the songs list for Rock Band and GH-WT, are the songs 'exclusives'?
e.g. a song on GH-WT, will it ever appear on Rock Band ... and vice versa?
Because GH3 has Linkin Park - No More Sorrow, but I've been waiting for it to come to RB. And on Wikipedia, it's saying that GH-WT will have more Linkin Park content ...

The Cars? hahaha i love Drive but Cars aren't really necessary for Rock Band. Ahh well i'll have a look.
GREAT to see more Rock Band-ers now. And Wutang bloody oath i'll be up for a world tour.
In terms of RB accessories i reckon Pedal Metal is a NECESSITY. Once you're up to hard/expert you will bang the crap out of the bass pedal. The plastic pedal will break, i repeat IT WILL BREAK. So many complaints in the USA about it. Pedal Metal will fix this for sure. I ordered mine at Amazon and came within 2 weeks. Easy to install too.
Nightplant. Could you please give us a review of the official silencer pads once they come? I'm interested in getting some sort of silencing pads but want to wait it out first to see what you think.

I purchased my Pedal Metal from rasehead just in case you want to know it cost me 33.23 all up with shipping.
My Nyko frontman is on aussie soil and ready to be delivered to me so I should have it by Monday all going well. Then I should be playing it by Wednesday if connecting it is as hard as it was for Wutang
