Little help please.

I was thinking about buying Rock Band Bundle from www.gamestop.com its about $170 + $58 shipping, is it worth it or is there somewhere cheaper i can pick this up from.

If you want RB brand new then I believe gamestop is the best/cheapest option.

You can also get used bundles on ebay like I did, the seller says the bundle has had less than 10 hours play, I only payed $92US & $50US shipping (read above, it should of been $90), so hopefully the bundle will arrive this week as USPS tracking says its left the United States & I can confirm that it is indeed in "like new" condition.

My brother in law just told me RB2's drum kit might have symbols on it, If this is so i might just hang out for RB2 and just pick up GH3 & GH Aerosmith for now.

RB2 wont have cymbals in the bundle but they are gonna sell them as add-ons. GH-WT will have cymbals out of the box, currently RB1 instruments are gonna be able to be used on both RB2 & GH-WT thou this has only been confirmed for 360 so far.

its a tough one... i guess if i was you, i'd probably meet him halfway and pay him $20 more.. or if the condition of the instruments is really good, maybe more? has he been good communicating with you etc? also, probably a good idea to not to anything till you receive it at least..

which shipping option did you choose? i took express, which explains why i got it so fast

damn i'm really edgy at work now, with my RB just begging to be played

Yeah I told him Id wait for the bundle to arrive before doing anything, his communication has been limited but ok. I didnt choose the shipping, I just asked him to find out how much it was to send to Australia, he qouted $50US so I payed it all by paypal.

Yeah I think your right thou, if the instruments are all in great condition like he says they are & the bundles arrives fairly quick then I think Ill give him the extra $40 he had to pay for the postage, I believe it did cost him the extra $40 because it includes tracking which the standard USPS shipping doesnt & he also didnt ask me to pay the extra $40, I figure if he was just trying to scam me for extra cash as his bundle only sold for $92 then Id think he would of asked me to pay the extra str8 out.

they may not be your cup or tea but i found the 30 seconds to mars and the all american reject songs really fun to play. also my sharona, Avenged Sevenfold if you like the heavier stuff and joker and the theif if fun to play on drums. But it all comes down to personal preference in music taste really.

haha this is just an initial list for me to play tonight

i actualy like 30 secs to mars.. got into them with their first album years ago. and i'll definitely be getting avenged sevenfold, but not tonight. joker and the thief - will def check it out

discomark - did you get a usb hub with your bundle? i thought the hub isnt included with the ps3 bundles, but i peeked at my box and there is a sticker on it saying "usb hub included"

dude.. are you aware that MGO is region locked? it pretty much means means you wont be able to play online games with aussies.. there's a thread dedicated to that somewhere on this site

LOL just get a smoke machine & some lights off ebay or something , I dont think this machine actually interacts with the game (although it does say that on the box), its been listed on gamestop for ages but has never been released.

@Jinx405 - congrats dood - you WILL enjoy your purchase. As an example - I've had RB for just on 6 months now, and its still just as much fun now (solo, and as a group / band) as it was when it first arrived.
