And you know this for a fact or you just think they will be hard ?

From what Ive read on the drums , to play them on easy wont be difficult at all, the game was designed so even the least experienced drummer could play them on easy at least & naturally as you turn the difficulty level up it gets harder. Ive watched a few videos & it doesnt look that hard at all.

Just looking at the guitar it has two sets of buttons. One set up high and another down low.

Got the game home and set it all up. Managed to play for about 30 mins (did not do tutorials on Guitar but took a brief look at drums tutorial). Guitar is very close to GH3. It has two sets of 6 buttons but I do not know at this stage if there is any real reason for that.
Drums are gonna take a bit of practice.
All in all, after 30 mins of looking the game seems pretty cool. Doing a system update at the moment as I tried to connect to PS Network to download material but was told I had to perform update. Will see if I can get some extra content at some point later tonight. Will post on additional content tomorrow.

Said I would post it when I sorted it out....

Tonight I connected to the US Playstation network and managed to download the Police, Metallica Add On Packs (US 5.49 eachpack) as well as WolfMothers Joker and the thief (US 1.99).

While there I also downloaded the full game of PAIN (for US 9.99).

All working fine.

Its all happening now !!

Yes I used Entropay.

Cannot get to the US Singstar Content using the Aus version of Singstar so Rock Band May be the same. The difference is though that you download directly from the PS store. Not via any in game menu so maybe there is still a chance for downloading Aussie content with Rock Band.

Or was it because they were charging in USD? Because if they were, our banks would convert it to AUD wouldn't they ...

@nightphant, when you linked your Entropay Virtual VISA to your American PSN account ... did you have to type an American address again? Or just the normal credit card details?

I searched the net on how to do this and got the info more or less from here... www.rockband.com/


Basically what I did was reset my PS3 to factory settings which deletes all account information etc. Patches stay up to date.

Start the unit up and complete all details as required but rather than list australia as your country select US, list your location as somewhere in america with a valid zip code (note: you can use your standard street address here in australia but the suburb and zip must be US and valid. FYI I chose the same suburn as the harmonix co).
Then when it comes time to enter credit card details, enter your virtual card number, you can leave the tick to say that the billing address is same as residential.

When you go to playstation store, you will Connect to US PS3 store.

Now, I take no responsibility for anything going wrong with a system by following these instructions. I have two PS3's (to get around region coding for movies) so for me it was reasonably easy to bring myself to wipe one. I have one now dedicated to US and one to Australia
