Mate, I highly recommend tapping the guitar link button and the receiver link button simultaneously ... like 3 or 4 or 5 times quickly in a row, like BAM BAM BAM BAM BAM. I think that's how I got mine working.

I spent hours trying to do the 'tap the link button here, tap the link button here and wait ... hopefully it'll find each other like a Bluetooth connection'. It never worked. But when I tapped both link buttons 3 times quickly, it instantly connected.

So yea, try that first
And just remember ... it's not a DOA

If you got the one with the hinge ... you would have to remove the pin (where the base of the pedal is connected). Screw on the metal pedal and hinge to your pedal, but with an extra plastic sheet inserted underneath (replaces the pin, the pin can't be reused). This plastic sheet apparently is durable, and takes all the stress.

I thought it was a fantastic idea

That ensures previous DLC songs are still compatible ... 4 drums, 2 cymbals ... and future DLC's can utilise the new cymbals ...

You are referring to the Drum supports ?

While you could probably construct them yourself it is easier to order them and just pay the $$$. I got mine from the link below for about AUD $28. Delivered in a week. They are just a plain pine and you can paint them yourself.

Truthfully, I am not sure. I have not played it since and besides, I dont belt the crap out the system anyway. They do definitely reduce some of the flexing in the end drums and you can tell that just my applying pressure to the end drums.

Yup!! They just sit in perfectly. They are moulded on the ends to fit snug.

THink i'll stay away from Guitar Hero, all the money i'll be spending on Rock Band DLC i don't think i could warrant purcahsing a whole new music game. My wireless guitar arrived today. So thats 3 days (posted tuesday morning from the states, their monday) to get a guitar from when they shipped it. Thats incredible timing i feel. Now i just have to wait for gamestop to get some Rock Band Bundles in and ship them and i'll be rocking out in no time hopefully.

Damn - now that I think of it Wutang - you may well be right. I was the same as you - had the 5h*ts BIG TIME thinking I'd bought a dud, and in anger / desperation I reckon thats exactly what I did too - tap 3 x in quick succession between guitar and receiver . . .

I actually bought 2 FRONTMAN's - and after I finally got mine connected when my neighbour rocked up to pick up his - from memory I did the same thing and it bound instantly.

BTW - count me in for a World Tour sometime - not really kickn' it on EXPERT but on hard I've mastered all but "Flirting With Disaster" and "Shockwave" (DLC) - all the other 130 or so songs Ive got I can nail on hard

I did notice however, rock band ps3 special bundle has been pulled form the Gamestop site again. Who knows whats going on.

That's what it was called! I had to do a tutorial to learn how to do those HAHAHA xD
Can't wait to be able to breeze through Expert with ease ...

And on the drums, I'm trying to master Dani California on Hard hahaha xD
